I really enjoyed entering Kate's Flash Fiction contest.  It looks like she might make this a regular thing.  That would be cool.  I submitted an entry over the weekend.  Before seeing her contest, i had never heard of flash fiction before. lol. It wasn't as easy as it looked.  I have a lot to learn...

In response to Sue's tag, I'd like to introduce you to my boyz.  They are all males, all pure-bred Shih Tzu.  My "First born" is "Sir Bubby Jolly"  That's his AKC name...we just call him Bubby.  Why Bubby, you ask?  Well, at the time of his arrival, the then Pittsburg Steeler's quarterback was Bubby Brister and I have been a Steeler's fan since I was knee high to a grasshopper.   I don't follow them as I used to, but secretly, my heart still belongs to the Steelers.  Don't tell hubby...he insists we must be Jaguar fans since we got the franchise several years ago.  But, I digress.  Bubby is a sweet boy, kind hearted and loving.  He ALWAYS knows when Mommy isn't feeling well and is there to offer comfort as only he can. 

This is Chu.   The one featured in the phonecam.  He's the "Middle Child".  His AKC name is "Emperor Chu" as he was not to be outdone by his older brother. lol.  He's sweet and cuddly, and loves attention.  He and Bubby are most alike.  Calm demeanors and loving. 

Now, this is Peeka. Peeka's the "baby".  That's ironic, considering he's the largest of the three. Peeka's the dark baby in the forefront.  I never got around to registering Peeka.  His name is obvious, I think.  But Mommy has a thing for the Pokemon cartoon and the little Pikachu.  Peeka's personality?  High strung and demanding.  Personally, I believe he is the spawn from hell.  I kid you not.  Still, I love him as much as his older brothers.

So, you've met my boyz.  Aren't they precious? 

Yesterday morning, I went for another set of interviews at the place I mentioned previously.  I thought they went well, but as I have not heard anything yet, I'm taking that as a bad sign.

On another note...today's my birthday.  Yay me.  lol.  I thought hubby had forgotten because he didn't say anything when he said goodmorning or goodbye (when he left for work).  Then he called me about 8am and sang "happy birthday" over the phone.  He is a sweetheart.  Still, I'm not totally convinced that he didn't forget.
