What a week this has been. As I posted a couple weeks ago, I lost my job shortly after returning to work off of FMLA due to a surgery in Mid July. Although they cited it was due to something other than my health issues... well, I won't go there.

Anyway, I've sent out a few resumes here and there. Received a call back from one place the next day to set up an interview. That was yesterday. I had to take two tests and did quite well on them. Especially the data entry portion. I interviewed with two people after that. I spent the better part of four hours there. Whew. Anyway, I was called back this afternoon to set up another interview Monday morning. It would be awesome to get this job. It's for a large company, less money than I was making, but the upside is that it's less than two miles from my house. The hours would be better and the pay pretty good. To say that I could use some major good thoughts and prayers for this opportunity is an understatement.

I've also been doing a lot of errands, getting my eyes checked and fitted for contacts, working around the house. Sadly, I've not given my body the opportunity to heal and I really need to do that. I've spent the better part of the last day resting in order to get the healing process where it needs to be. Hopefully, after the weekend, I'll be back on the mend. It's nothing serious, just an incision that is stubborn.
